Two Eidos stakeholders join Square bandwagon February 25, 2009

Square Enix bandwagonLegal & General Investment Manager and Warner Bros. have jumped in. Now Insight Investment Management and Pioneer Investment Management, two of Eidos’ stakeholders, have also expressed their support for the Square Enix bid for Lara Croft takeover. This brings the total expressed ownage of Square in Eidos to 32.23% of the existing share capital of the Tomb Raider publisher.

The proposal will be formally voted on in March. Once approved, Square Enix will officially be taking over the following month.

More on this as it develops, as usual, if it does, which it will.
